Current Snow Conditions at Pincushion Mountain

Poor Skiing Conditions: The Pincushion Trails have now pretty much melted down. You might find a few patches skiable but it has been pretty warm around the clock over the past two days. See you next year! Stay tuned for a hiking / biking trail condition report later this spring.

Good Skiing Conditions: The Pincushion Trails are now in a steady melt/freeze cycle again, the last few days mostly melt. Grooming by Pisten Bully has set the trails up firm for spring skiing; the skating lanes are packed wide.

Compacted Base: 6 - 12”

Snow Depth in Woods: 8 - 12"

New Snow Last 24 Hours: 0 "

New Snow Last 7 Days: 6 ”

Groomed for Skating: Ungroomed but 25 km previously packed.

Groomed with Classic Tracks: 0 km groomed with tracks set.

Surface Conditions: Melt/freeze frozen granular snow.

Trail Conditions Rated: Fair to Good for Classic skiing and Good for Skate skiing in the mornings. Its getting warm now but there is still snow on 99% of the trail. A few bare spots showing up in places..

Last Grooming Day: Tuesday, March 25th. April 14th in the stadium loop area. The PB is put away for the year now.

Total Snow for Season since Nov. 5th, 2007: 104" !
