Rentals

As of March 11th, 2010, we are again offering rental skis to skiers of the North Shore. After Superior Coastal Sports closed at the end of December and sold their rentals, there was no one in Grand Marais offering rental cross-country skis. We were not in a position to offer rentals at that time.

But now after a fairly good winter season, we were able to purchase some high quality Madshus X-Track and Eline waxless skis for rental. These skis combined with out remaining inventory of Mari skis will offer rental skis for beginners and intermediate level skiers a high quality, stable and fun cross-country skiing experience! Rates for rental are $25 half day and $40 full day.

This season, we also offer demo skis to potential buyers. Rates for classical or skating skis are $40 half day and $60 full day. This is a premium ski service program offering high end touring and racing ski equipment.

A release form must be signed when you come to demo equipment, and a drivers license/ID is also required.
